European Health Data and Evidence Network (EHDEN)
Leveraging the global medical analytics community to help you drive improved healthcare outcomes
Innovation, collaboration, standardisation – these are the cornerstones of our work helping customers capture, refine and leverage the value of their clinical data for evidence-based research.
In support of those aims, we have been selected for membership of the prestigious European Health Data and Evidence Network (EHDEN1) – a coalition of health professionals, researchers and patient groups committed to maximising the value of health data via the open sharing of large-scale analytical studies.
EHDEN collaborates closely with its US partner organisation, the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics programme (OHDSI2). EHDEN and OHDSI work together to help drive adoption of the globally-recognised OMOP Common Data Model and vocabulary – to help improve healthcare outcomes.
Let us help you get research ready
The standardisation of your data terminology is key to maximising its value.
It enables the seamless exchange of information between different systems whilst preserving meaning: improving understanding of patients and maximising the quality of the information used in observational research studies.
We are trusted standardised terminology experts with wide experience of health data translation and mapping in a range of UK healthcare settings such as GP practices, Primary Care Networks, NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Systems.
Our differentiating Symedical terminology and health data quality platform can support the mapping of your data aligned to the OMOP Common Data Model to simplify and accelerate your clinical data strategy.
Our specialist services include:
- OMOP ‘Extract, Transform and Load’ (ETL) tooling
- OMOP standardised vocabulary data mapping
- Technical infrastructure hosting services
- OHDSI data mapping training
Let us combine the positive impact of the OMOP CDM with our wider expertise and suite of proven solutions to provide a truly holistic data management experience.
Terminology, Mapping, Natural Language Processing, Rules Engine automation, deep-dive Clinical Analytics, Data Quality and Interoperability, – all can be deployed in a way which leverages the transformational power of the OMOP CDM and unlocks the value of your data to enhance best practice and efficiency, improve healthcare delivery, and benefit your patients.
1, European Health Data and Evidence Network (EHDEN) was established to reduce the time needed to provide answers in real world, health research. To achieve this, it is developing infrastructure in a federated network to scale across Europe, collaboration on research methodologies, and education.
2, Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics programme (OHDSI) was established to continue and broaden the valuable work of the US-founded Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) – a five-year public-private project which studied the effects of medical products and shared resultant information with industry, government, and academia.
Your data is amazing…let us show you how.
